Hey kids, thanks again for listening to Children's Stories Read by Moe Train.

Today's story has always been one of Harper Stella and Gage's favorites.

We're a beach fan, we love the water, we love the sand, and we love to hunt for sharks

teeth when we're down in southwest Florida.

So today's story is Sea Sand Meat by Patricia Hubbell.

Pack up our beach bags, load up the car, we're going to the beach, and here we are.

Flippy floppy sun hat, wiggly waggly toes, mommy rubbing lotion on my nose, nose, nose.

The family packs beach bags and loads the car on a bright morning.

Pale and shovel, dig, dig, dig, jumpin' dolly, jumpin' pig, beach day, beach day, sun

sand sea, go squawking, talking just to me, somebody is coming, spoon in his hand, we

can make a giant castle in the scratchy, scratchy sand, sea shell toenails, seaweed hair,

lifeguard laughing in his great tall chair, sand in our belly buttons, sand in our pants,

we jump in the water, and dance, dance, dance, we jump, jump, jump in the curly,

whirly wave, cold water doesn't scare us, cause we're brave, brave, brave, beach day,

Two brave kids jump and splash in the curly turquoise waves.

beach day, sea sand weave, my friend and I are splashing in a swishy, swashy sea, lunch

time, lunch time, cookies lemonade, we flop on our blankets in the shade, shade, shade,

we climb on the rocks, see a starfish on a stone, a little minnow swimming, and a big fish

bone, we bounce our beach ball, put shells in our pails, wave it a boat, with big red

sails, shadows on the sand now, sun hanging low, pack up our beach bags, home we go,

beach day, beach day, wish we could stay, I hope I see my friend on the next beach day,

At sunset they pack up and wave goodbye to the sea and the little red-sailed boat.
